Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what this is

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wealth Decisions Copilot web application at wealthdecisions.co (the "Service"), operated by Wealth Decisions. By creating an account, ticking the consent box at signup, or subscribing to a paid plan you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service is a personal-finance tool: it lets you record assets, liabilities and cash flows, computes net worth and financial-independence projections from the data you enter and from third-party market data, and generates AI-assisted commentary on that data. Market data is provided "as is" by third-party providers and may be delayed or inaccurate.

3. Not financial, tax or legal advice

Wealth Decisions is a personal productivity tool. The summaries it generates describe data you entered yourself; they are not financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Decisions about your money are yours alone. If you need licensed advice, consult a regulated professional in your jurisdiction.

Nothing in the Service constitutes a personal recommendation, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, or regulated investment advice. Projections are illustrative scenarios based on assumptions you control. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and should consult a licensed professional where appropriate.

4. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and do not share an account between people. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraud or abuse.

5. Plans, trials, billing and cancellation

• Free tier. Available without payment, with the limits shown on the pricing page.
• Trial. New accounts receive a 14-day Pro trial without payment details. When the trial ends the account continues on the Free tier unless you subscribe.
• Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through our payment processor Stripe, at the price shown at checkout (taxes may be added according to your location). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Access continues until the end of the paid period; no further charges are made.
• Refunds and withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting a paid plan you request immediate access to the digital service and acknowledge that, once the service has been fully performed during that period, the right of withdrawal is lost. We may still refund at our discretion; a full refund or a chargeback ends the subscription immediately.
• Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price increase takes effect on your renewal.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other users' data, probe or overload the Service, reverse-engineer it, resell it, scrape market data through it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Automated access is limited to the features we expose for that purpose.

7. Your data

You own the data you enter. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display it to you, and to send the portions you request to our AI provider to generate analysis. Our data practices, sub-processors and your rights (including deletion and export) are described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, add or remove features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce a paid plan.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 3, 7, 9 and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, or, for consumers, the courts of your residence where the law so provides. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. The current version is 2026-09.
